Cellular Metabolism and Energetics
Prereq.: BMS 306 or BMS 307 or BMS 311,
or BMS 316; and CHEM 210 and 211 or permission
of department chair.
For entering graduate students.
Study of biochemical reactions that sustain life in
connection to their role in biological systems. Structure
and function of biomolecules. Integration and regulation of
metabolic pathways will be discussed. This is a bridge
course with BMS 496. No credit given to students with
previous credit for BMS 496.
