Structure of Mathematics III: Number Patterns
Prereq.: MATH 213 and at least one of the following:
MATH 115, MATH 116 (formerly MATH 121), or MATH 119
(all with C- or higher); open only for students seeking
elementary certification.
Exploratory approach to number patterns and functions.
Topics include prime and composite numbers, perfect
numbers, Fibonacci numbers, figurative numbers,
Pythagorean triples, and sequences. Calculators
will be used.
