The fundamentals of early, mammalian, embryonic development in select species and analysis of the techniques used in embryo biotechnology, such as cloning, human assisted reproductive technologies, transgenesis and cutting-edge methods for genome editing. Includes discussion of applications and ethical issues surrounding embryo manipulation.
