BIO 463 - Parasites and Human Disease
Parasites and Human Disease Irregular Prereqs.: BIO 200 and BIO 290 A study of parasitic protists and helminths that cause human disease. Emphasis will be on the biology and life-cycles of parasites of human significance, mechanisms of transmission and infection, pathology, global public health implications, and approaches to control parasites in human populations.
