BMS 201 - Prin Cell/Molecular Biology
Principles of Cell and Molecular Biology Study Area IV Prereq.: BMS 102 and BMS 103 or BIO 121; or permission of department chair. Introduction to the major principles of cell biology including cell compartmentalization; flow of genetic information; protein structure, synthesis, and trafficking; signal transduction; and molecular responses resulting in changes in cell activity, cell division, or apoptosis. Three hours of lecture and one, three-hour laboratory per week.
