Experimental Developmental Biology
Prereq.: BMS 201 or permission of department chair.
Laboratory-based course introducing students to the
techniques biologists use to understand fundamental
processes of embryonic development. Investigations
will include gene and protein expression, morphogenetic
processes that shape embryos, genetic manipulations
of development and effects of environmental toxicants on
development. Two, two-hour laboratories per week.
