ME 354 - Fluid Mechanics
Fluid Mechanics Fall. Prereq.: ENGR 251 (C- or higher), ME 258 (C- or higher), and MATH 355. Basic principles of fluid mechanics. Hydrostatic forces, kinematics of fluid motion, integral and differential representation of conservation of mass, momentum and energy, Bernoulli's equation, dimensional analysis, viscous flow, frictional losses, pipeline network analysis and design. Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
