|CET 453 - Microcomputers|
Prereq.: CS 213 or CS 151 or ROBO 110, and CET 363 all
with a grade of C- or higher or acceptance to the Graduate
MSCIT or MSTM programs.
Microcontroller architecture including basic memory design,
address decoding and internal register structure, and
assembly language programming including addressing modes and
instruction set. Laboratory work consists of programming and
interfacing experiments. Projects focus on solving real
world problems following a standard development process.
Two hours lecture and three hours laboratory, course meets
five hours per week.
