Color Management & Analysis
Prereq.: GRT 112 and GRT 242 both with a grade of
C- or higher.
Scientific study of color, perception and measurement
principles, protocol for tolerances and targeting, and
quality control practices of graphic color systems.
Emphasis on the connection of color science to the graphic
industry and state-of the art measurement equipment and
software. Students will deploy color profiling, color
management, color targeting and tolerance development to
industry relevant applications. Two hour lecture and three
hour laboratory, course meets four hours per week.
