ME 483 - Aerodynamics
Aerodynamics Spring. Prereq.: MATH 222 (C- or higher) and ME 354 (C- or higher). Basics of compressible flows. Reviews potential flow theory, viscous effects, and compressibility effects. Theory and design of aerodynamic bodies. Investigates subsonic, transonic, and supersonic airfoils. Computer simulation. Requires aerodynamic design project. Two hours of lecture and two hours of laboratory per week.
